Since the earliest days of Youth With A Mission, YWAM, God has expressed His heart for the unreached people by calling YWAM workers to the Frontiers. From the beginning, we have been committed to training people worldwide and placing them in the people groups of which they have been called. We believe that The Great Commission is not just an opportunity but a mandate. Like the early Christians of the first century church forward through successive generations of people passionate about God, we are mandated to preach His message and His purposes with all people. And yes, He is using ordinary people like me and you for extraordinary purposes. And He is doing this in such a time as this! So join the movement and see the unreached communities become disciples of Christ!
About a year and a half ago, God challenged us again as YWAM Romania to refocus more on mobilizing, training, sending and supporting Romanians who are called to go to other countries as missionaries, but also on making Christians aware of the need to fight to take the Gospel to the ends of the world. The commandment has not yet been fulfilled, the great sending has not yet ended.
That’s why we do this school in Medias. We have young people from several nations (Romanians, Burundians, Rwandans, Germans), several denominations and different contexts who will seek God to understand how we can further our call to lead The Gospel in the tribes and communities that are not reached with the Good News.
